While they have put out many good albums and matured and diversified since, I along with many other fans of the band would feel that this album was never surpassed by their subsequent work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eLyrically, this is bold Christianity, with spiritual warfare a key theme. If you ever wanted to hear a metal version of Psalm 23, here it is, albeit one of the slower songs on the album.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eI would recommend this to any thrash\/speed metal fan, and indeed to any metal fan in general, Christian or otherwise. The lyrics are mature, Christ centered, and intelligent. I guess the return to thrash was not what Jayson Sherlock wanted, as soon after the release of P.M.A., he announced his departure to play with doom\/death band Param¾cium. Driving bass and hard guitar effects are used freely throughout. The choice of song titles are popular and familiar, and the lyrics are all straight from your local church hymnal. BUT this is NOT a church camp sing; this is air-guitar, shout what you believe music. In fact, none of the songs follows the \"hymnal\" chord progressions, so those of you who think that the artist is just attempting to \"rock up\" the usual selections are in for a great surprise. These were (and for those who have never heard this album, these are) all-new arrangements. Nobody, with the aid of producer and keyboardist Taylor, drums by Gene Eugene (Adam Again), and guitar solos by Chris Brigandi (previously of the Lifters and Wild Blue Yonder), has laid down 15 hard-edged songs that are special indeed. Direct, often blatant lyrics ring true on Nobody's lips, and the intensity of music and emotion of message bring integrity to things that would sound silly or crude printed on paper (\"I've had nails through my hands and feet\/ I've hung from a tree like a piece of meat\"). Like many, I of course knew a few of her classics,but never realised how many wonderful songs she has done, written and sung or covered, many of which have been ignored or underestimated and which are as good if not better than those she is famous for. I guess that's what comes from being such a prolific songwriter, over 4000 to her name. It has been a great pleasure and real surprise going back to get some of her earlier records\/cds and listen to them. This CD from 1993 is really great and did not disappoint. Here is a classic blend of pop, light rock, celtic, gospel and pure country, she shows her talent as solo artist, songwriter, singer with two, three, four and more. The Mighty Fine band are in mighty form, but she is also accompanied by Chet Atkins, Tany Tucker, Billy Ray,Vince Gill, Billy Dean,Emmy Lou, Pam Tillis,A.Krauss, Kathy Mattea, Maura O connell to name a few. The title song SLOW DANCING WITH THE MOON, written by Mac Davis, is a gem, you have to hear it to understand, but it is beautiful, she sings it perfectly. Her own song WHAT WILL BABY BE, is one of the finest celtic\/country soulful pieces I have ever heard.Also her own, I'LL MAKE YOUR BED, is a real special song and lovely melody, Chet's accompanying guitar is special. ROMEO, the most well known is a fun, rocky number. I really liked, CROSS MY HEART, written by R.Dennison her sister, R.Parton, her brother and Frank Dycus. I could go on, I would just tell you, go listen to it. There is one song FULL CIRCLE, written and sung by Dolly,which is surprising for lyrics. While being a good song, is not the best track of the album, but is particularly interesting for its words. Inside out was the 4th album from IDLE CURE originally released in 1991 and was lyrically and musically one of their best.  It's also never been released on vinyl.  If you like ear-candy arena rock bands like Def Leppard, Foreigner and Journey this is for you.  Catchy hooks, insane guitar work and over the top production and songs with feeling and emotion. From the violins to the saxophones, each instruments brings out it's power and gives each and every song a whole new kind of meaning to them. Some of the best songs on the live album would have to be The Call Of Ktulu (which recently won a Grammy), Master Of Puppets, One, Battery, Nothing Else Matters, For Whom The Bell Tolls, and more songs than you can shake a stick at. The two new songs, -Human and No Leaf Clover, certainly rumbled the place as well.\u003cbr\u003eWhether your a fan of Metallica or not a fan, you owe it to yourself to at least listen the entire album just once. I remember watching the documentary for the whole S\u0026amp;M project (this was for a limited time only) and James Hetfield stated they were just experimenting with this project - and that is so true. Metallica have been making history in their career and I highly believe that the band will do some magical things in the future and S\u0026amp;M proves this. The only complaint that most fans have is the fact that any song from the Kill Them All album were not part of the setlist for S\u0026amp;M. My guess is that perhaps those songs weren't melodic enough.
